For the people who teach the game
Develop your practice.Find your pathway.
FFCI helps aspiring and active coaches understand the recognized qualification pathway, prepare for what comes next, and belong to a professional community committed to serving Indian football well.
Where are you today?
The pathway
Every qualification is a stage. The pathway is the career.
Coaching qualifications in Indian football are awarded by the All India Football Federation and the Asian Football Confederation. FFCI organizes and hosts courses, helps coaches understand entry criteria, and supports them from one stage to the next. Coaches are trained in contemporary methods — tactical and technical development, player psychology and motivation, and injury prevention and management.

Questions
Asked by coaches, answered plainly
Does FFCI award coaching licenses?
No — and any organization that claims to should be checked. Licenses and diplomas are awarded by the All India Football Federation and the Asian Football Confederation. FFCI organizes and hosts courses, prepares candidates, and supports coaches between stages.
What is the Federation of Football Coaches in India?
FFCI is a professional body dedicated to supporting, educating and empowering football coaches across India — a place for coaches to connect, learn and advance in the game.
How do I register for a course or workshop?
Course announcements are published on this site and on FFCI's official channels, each with its own registration details. Joining the coach community is the reliable way to be notified.
Who sets course fees and entry criteria?
The credentialing body — AIFF or AFC — sets and publishes fees, entry criteria and course structure for licensing courses. Always confirm current requirements from the official announcement before applying.
Is there an age requirement?
Entry criteria, including any age requirements, are set per course by the credentialing body and can change between editions. The official course announcement is the only place to confirm them.
I already hold a license. What does FFCI offer me?
Preparation for the next stage, a community of working coaches, development resources, and ways to contribute locally — through programs, events and coach education in your state.
How does FFCI contribute to football in India?
By strengthening coaches — their education, standards and community — FFCI improves the quality of football training and the experience of the players those coaches reach.
