FFCI works with children, families, schools and communities. That work runs on trust, and trust runs on restraint with information. This policy states how FFCI handles personal data — built to meet the obligations of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, with particular care for the protections the Act gives children.
Children’s data
- Never published.FFCI does not publish children’s names, contact details, schools, or any other identifying information on this website or in its public materials.
- Never sold, never shared identifiably. Program records that involve minors are held in FFCI’s operational systems only. Reporting to partners and funders is aggregate and anonymized — counts and outcomes, never identities.
- Guardian consent first.Where a program requires a child’s details for participation or safety, they are collected with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, used for that program, and retained no longer than the purpose requires.
- Photographs only with consent. Images of children from FFCI programs are published only with documented guardian consent, and are removed on request.
- No tracking, no profiling, no ads.FFCI does not track children’s behaviour, build profiles of them, or direct advertising at them — the standard Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023 sets, and the one FFCI holds itself to.
This website
The forms on this site — coach interest, partnership and event enquiries, the compliance-dossier request — collect only the details you enter, deliver them to FFCI’s operational systems, and are used to respond to you. Submissions are consent-based, and your details are never sold or added to third-party marketing lists. This website is directed at adults — coaches, partners, hosts and supporters — and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data FFCI holds about you or your child, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to ffcipres@gmail.com and FFCI’s office will respond. Grievances about data handling go to the same address, marked “Data grievance”, and are answered by the federation’s administration.
